COVID Grant Program
As we feel the impact of the COVID resurgence and the volume of requests for assistance increases, UBCF is temporarily shifting our service model to serve a higher volume of clients with faster results. We have developed the COVID Grant Program to meet the needs of our clients as the country responds to unprecedented circumstances. Our mission remains to provide service to all, regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity, or income.
The COVID Grant Program award includes gift cards and access to additional online services that will help reduce some of the stress that COVID continues to cause our community. The COVID Grant Program is open to women and men, in active treatment and in remission up to 10 years. Please note, this program is different from the UBCF COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Program established in 2020.
If you have received assistance through two or more grant programs in 2021 (Individual Grant, Holistic Care Grant, Child Sponsorship Grant, Breast Reconstruction Grant, or the Audrey B. Mastroianni College Scholarship) you are not eligible at this time.
Even if you previously received a UBCF COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Program award ($100.00 Amazon Gift Card and other goodies), you are welcome to apply for the UBCF COVID Grant Program at this time.
COVID Grant Program Guidelines:
- UBCF is processing requests through email and our online application only.
- Open to women and men.
- Open to those in active treatment.
- Open to those in remission up to 10 years.
- Applicants are required to submit medical documentation including the date of your breast cancer diagnosis or date of “no evidence of disease”.
UBCF prides itself on providing support to breast cancer patients, survivors, and their families. We have been incredibly disappointed by several instances of fraudulent applications being submitted to us. Not only is this practice unethical and immoral, but it takes finite resources away from those truly struggling through the lasting impact of a breast cancer diagnosis. Fraudulent applications and materials will not be accepted and may be subject to administrative, civil, or criminal liability.
Be aware, that by submitting this form, you are agreeing to the following statement:
