Therapeutic mattresses available to women, men and children directly impacted by breast cancer
HUNTINGTON STATION, NY (PRWEB) SEPTEMBER 28, 2017
The United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF) is thrilled to announce our semi-annual Tempur-Pedic® mattress event to benefit current breast cancer patients, survivors and their children. The event will take place Saturday, September 30th and will be held at Arbiom’s warehouse located in the quaint town of Norton, Virginia.
UBCF has partnered with Good360 to donate high quality twin and queen Tempur-Pedic® mattresses to women, men and children affected by breast cancer. UBCF’s goal is to relieve as much stress as possible; financially, physically and mentally. A large percent of UBCF’s clients come from low-income households and simply cannot afford a new mattress. UBCF aids in providing the comfort necessary for recovery. For more information please contact UBCF’s Director of Operations, Ms. Beth Reichart at #877-822-4287 x702 or email [email protected]
“Since 2012, the semi-annual Tempur-Pedic® mattress event has been a corner-stone of UBCF’s Community Service Program,” said Ms. Reichart in a recent interview. “I’ve personally met hundreds of women, men and children that have been moved to tears over these beautiful Tempur-Pedic® mattresses. A good night’s sleep is so important to our clients well-being and UBCF is honored to help them achieve that.”
In addition to the new mattresses, UBCF is giving away other household items generously donated by Bed Bath & Beyond and Buy Buy Baby. Cancer care is expensive. Very often between medical bills and every day expenses our clients become overwhelmed. UBCF and its partners are here to help.
UBCF thanks Arbiom for generously donating warehouse space for the sixth consecutive year. Volunteers from The Health Wagon, UVA Wise and UBCF will be on hand, ensuring a successful event. UBCF’s next Tempur-Pedic® mattress event is tentatively scheduled for Spring, 2018 in Melville, NY.
