United Breast Cancer Foundation will be holding the annual Tempur-Pedic(R) Mattress Fall Donation event in September in Norton, VA. UBCF is now accepting applications from breast cancer patients AND survivors. A limited number of twin and queen mattresses will be available at no cost.
UBCF trusts the Tempur-Pedic(R) mattress brand to assist in achieving a good night’s sleep. Restoration during sleep is very important in the healing process of patients and survivors of breast cancer. Very often purchasing simple household items, like new mattresses, new sheets and bedding, and small appliances is delayed because of mounting medical bills. All of these items provided by UBCF help contribute to the continued health and wellness of our clients.
This is UBCF’s third Tempur-Pedic(R) mattress event in the past 12 months, and the second in the Southwest Virginia community of Norton. UBCF is looking for volunteers to help with this event.
