The United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF) hosted a Meet and Greet event to showcase the achievements of the organization and the present various rewards when partnering with UBCF. The event took place on the evening of November 3rd, in New York City.
Attending this event were special guests Cindy Barshop (former star on the Real Housewives of New York City and founder of VSpot Medi-Spa) and Aysha Saeed (fashion designer and founder of Aysha Collection) as well as UBCF President and Executive Director, Stephanie Mastroianni.
The United Breast Cancer Foundation is a national non-profit organization whose mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer. UBCF provides many programs to assist patients and their families.
Founded in 2000, UBCF has assisted, brought awareness and education to breast cancer to over 88,000 people nationwide through attendance and participation at various events. Some of these event includes Indie 500, Brickyard 400, Chicagoland, Combined Federal Campaign Events, and plus more.
A partnership with UBCF will entail bringing education and awareness to breast cancer while making a positive difference in the lives of those affected by breast cancer.
For example, this fall, UBCF has partnered with Barshop’s VSpot Medi-Spa to promote alternative treatment options to improve breast cancer survivor’s health, well-being, and enjoyment of intimacy, enabling women to feel comfortable in their own bodies again. V-Spot Medi-Spa specializes in using the FDA approved Femilift laser, a thermal heating system that promotes tissue regeneration in the vaginal walls. As a result of this treatment, itching, burning and painful sex are eradicated. The treatment, which requires no medication, is a completely non-surgical and women can walk out of the spa after treatment with no pain. For women who battled cancer, many still experience remnant side effects from treatment. Compared to changes in hair and skin – changes in the vaginal health are rarely discussed. Femilift laser is designed to treat these changes, so that women can feel comfortable and intimate as they choose.
Barshop believes women should be able to “feel good about feeling good”.
UBCF is proud to be a part of this new innovative solution for women.
UBCF would also like to thank Aysha Saeed and Vincenzo Di Sabantonio for working together with UBCF in hosting the event. The Meet and Greet event took place right in their studio in the New York City Fashion District! In 2010, Aysha Saeed launched AYSHA Inc. and began a collection line with a NYC based lifestyle fashion brand.
“The company’s main mission is to dress America’s current and future leaders. AYSHA empowers women to take on the world through its confident, sexy, and elegant products with a hint of edge.”

The event was an overall success. UBCF’s CEO – Stephanie Mastroianni says,
“It was exciting to be at the center of New York and pairing with Aysha—whose motto is to empower women. It is similar to UBCF’s mission – we urge women to make their educated choices when it comes to their health care.”
Mastroianni adds, “It was interesting to see a mix of cultures at the event. The world seemed like a much smaller place. Having the chance to partner with a diverse cast of people and products has shown how much UBCF has grown.”
