Treatment Journal Assists Patients and Caregivers Track Medical Information
HUNTINGTON STATION, NY (PRWEB) DECEMBER 11, 2015
The national nonprofit, United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF) announces the debut of the Breast Cancer Treatment Journal. By offering the Treatment Journal, UBCF hopes to make the journey through breast cancer less stressful.
In an interview, UBCF’s Executive Director, Ms. Stephanie Mastroianni, had this to say, “’I’m pleased that one of UBCF’s talented interns, Ms. Anam Tariq, created the Treatment Journal in an effort to help keep track of her mother’s diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. This example reinforces the heart that goes into the work that we do and how close each of us are to this disease in one way or another.”
The Treatment Journal and detailed instructions are available on UBCF’s website. Patients and caregivers may download documents at no cost and begin using the resource immediately. The Treatment Journal empowers breast cancer patients – enabling people to have their medical records available at a moment’s notice. This is a wonderful thing for people managing a multitude of appointments, medical providers, medications and treatment protocols. To learn more about UBCF’s Treatment Journal, visit UBCF’s website.
